This is the objective behind two initiatives that the Trib is launching this week.
The two new features are:
• Additional tribe
Subscribers will have access to a special section on TribLIVE.com where they can find extensive news coverage, from regional and national news to lifestyle coverage on home life, food and drink, and entertainment. the latest in entertainment. The section will feature unique columns from western Pennsylvania health experts answering questions about health issues.
It will also highlight special events at local breweries and wineries. And it will contain puzzles and photo galleries from journalists in our neighborhoods.
• Westmoreland Plus and AK Valley Plus
Subscribers will receive four additional pages of news, sports and articles as part of their daily digital edition.
This means content readers won’t find anywhere else. Westmoreland Edition subscribers will receive Westmoreland Plus; Valley News Dispatch subscribers will receive AK Valley Plus. It will include local obituaries, more local sports coverage and special reports highlighting the people of the area.
Westmoreland Plus and AK Valley Plus will be available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to print subscribers.
