The IBS Clerk Recruitment Examination will begin next month. Check here for study tips

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exams are scheduled from August 7 to December 31. Exams are like Bank PO, RRB, Clerk and SO online exams.

Vacancies have been advertised for IBPS RRB. The preliminary examination for clerks is scheduled for August 28, September 3 and 4. The recruitment notice has been published for 6035 vacancies this year.

Each year, approximately one million candidates register for the examinations organized by the IBPS. Preparing for bank exams is not a week-long or month-long task. It takes dedication, planning, and strategic time management for a few months to pass the exam. Some prefer to take coaching classes while others prefer to study on their own. Whichever road we choose,

Here’s how to prepare for the exams

Have a study plan: Study plan is something that should be part of every aspirant’s checklist. For IBPS exams, it is quite essential to make a study plan as it gives you a clear indication of the amount of syllabus covered. It also highlights an individual’s weak points. A study plan can also help you reduce the level of stress caused by exam pressure.

Focus on tests and quizzes: An aspirant should always focus on increasing their speed and the only way to achieve this is to regularly take objective tests and quizzes. A good set of test/quiz sets can help the aspirant to increase the speed as it serves as practice for the exams. Taking tests/quizzes can familiarize you with exam patterns, saving you time on the big day.

Manage your time: Time management is the most important aspect when preparing for and taking the IBPS exam. During preparation, a strategy should be developed on how much time to devote to each topic and section. Moreover, the aspirant should devote more time to subjects according to what he feels to be tricky and complicated. When attempting the exam, split the time of each section to solve the maximum number of questions.

Essential Doubt Resolution: Doubt resolution is a very important part of the IBPS preparation process. Getting the solution of doubts or questions where one is usually stuck by an expert/mentor in a timely manner can greatly help the aspirant. This promotes more results-oriented learning and the creation of topic/concept recall.

Take time to review: All preparation is incomplete without proper review. For quick review, short notes on important topics can be taken during preparation. These notes can be helpful when you want to recap everything you’ve studied previously. Simply put, the more you study, the better prepared you are to take the exam.
