Google has released a new practice game that aims to walk you through the ins and outs of Chrome OS. The tutorial is especially handy for newbies who recently upgraded from a Windows PC to some of the best Chromebooks.

Gamified training consists of five sections plotted on a map. Each segment takes you to interactive activities designed to get you started with your new Chromebook. If you’ve been using Chrome OS for a while, Google claims the practice game will help you “brush up on your Chromebook skills.”

You can start the tutorial with any section you want. In the “At your desk” section, for example, you will learn how to differentiate Chrome OS applications from Windows applications by using a memory game where you will have to find the corresponding pairs of applications.

Another trivia game under the “Reception” segment lets you learn handy keyboard shortcuts so you can start using a Chromebook quickly. The majority of games focus on productivity, entertainment, and setting up your device.

The entire training, which mainly consists of quizzes and mini-games, will take around 30 minutes. It ends with a survey that solicits your feedback on the game to determine the effectiveness of the training method.

If you want to give it a try, you can go to the game’s page and log into your Google account. After that, you need to create a profile with Intellum.
